Getting Ready

Saturday started out looking beautiful sun shiny day. The clouds only started to form around 11. There were a few showers I had to drive through on the way to Bingara, but the rain for the most part seemed to be holding off.... not for long.

I met Bec for the first time as I walked through the door ! We'd been conversing via text and email, so it was nice to finally see her in the flesh.

I was surprised Bingara had such a lovely place that you could rent out to get ready! The River House!

The tunes were already pumping when I walked in and the girls had all their hair and make-up already done and were looking fab-u-lous! It was such a relaxed vibe! The heavy showers that were going through town didn't dampen anyones parade! The weather was apparently fine at the ceremony location, just 10 minutes up the road at the ceremony location.

The Ceremony

Tom and Bec's ceremony was due to start at 3.30pm. Things always unfold in their own order, no matter how well you've planned your day though. At around 3.10, there was a fairly heavy downpour. Everyone hiked back up the hill and waited under the marquee until the downpour subsided. With a quick wipe down of the chairs and umbrella's at the ready, the ceremony started only a little while after the original time. The sun even came out!

Tom and Bec had a quick and relaxed ceremony and just after we managed to get the group photo, the rain decided to join us ...again!
